The community manager is the person from the local social organization or from a educational entity that will manage the impactMarket community.

What are the responsibilities of a community manager?

A community manager is a person in charge of: 1. Create the community on the platform with all details needed 2. Add the beneficiaries to the community 3. Support the beneficiaries on "How to use the platform" 4. Add beneficiaries to the support social media group 5. Keep the community updated with all information shared by the impactMarket team 6. Share stories from the community

A community manager is a paid position?

No! It is a volunteer position.

Can a community manager be a beneficiary?

Yes! A community manager is a volunteer position, but impactMarket allows community managers to be beneficiaries as a perk for their work with the communities.

A impactMarket community can have more than one community manager?

Yes. Each community of 200 people can have a maximum of two community managers.

How to be a community manager?

To be a community manager, you should be selected by the local social organization or by the educational entity that applied for the creation of an impactMarket community.

How to add beneficiaries?

1.Go to the dApp (through Libera or https://app.impactmarket.com/) 2.Connect your wallet 3.Go to the menu “Beneficiaries” 4.Press the button “add beneficiary” 5.Paste the Libera wallet address 6.Go to your wallet and approve the transaction Note: if you are not a community manager, you can´t add beneficiaries; if you are not using your community manager address, you won´t be able to add beneficiaries.

How to remove beneficiaries?

1.Go to the dApp (through Libera or https://app.impactmarket.com/) 2.Connect your wallet 3.Go to the menu “Beneficiaries” 4.Paste the wallet address that you want to remove on the search bar 5.Press “Open” 6.Press “Remove beneficiary” 7.Go to your wallet and approve the transaction Note: if you are not a community manager, you can´t remove beneficiaries; if you are not using your community manager address, you won´t be able to remove beneficiaries.

If a beneficiary is removed, can be added back to the community?

No. A removed beneficiary cannot be added back to the impactMarket community.

How to request funds for my impactMarket community?

1.Go to the dApp (through Libera or https://app.impactmarket.com/ ) 2.Go to the menu “manager dashboard” 3.Press the button “request funds” 4.Go to your wallet and approve the transaction

Who can request funds for the community?

In the past, community managers were responsible for requesting funds from the system for their communities. Nowadays, when the community contract runs out of funds and a beneficiary tries to claim their UBI, if funds are available in the DAO treasury, the system will automatically transfer funds to the community contract.

When can I request funds for my impactMarket community?

Three conditions need to happen to be possible to request funds for communities: - It passes 24h from the last request - The community balance should be Lower than X (you can check on the community contract) - The balance in the treasury of the DAO needs to be higher than Y (you can check here (https://support.impactmarket.com/563349-How-can-I-check-the-funds-available-on-the-DAO-treasury))

How can I check the funds available on the DAO treasury?
